What James Will Bring to the CNUSD School Board:

• Keep Neighborhood Schools Local and Accessible: James is committed to ensuring that neighborhood schools remain accessible to local families. He opposes turning any one school into a full dual immersion program that would displace local students and force them to travel across town if they are not enrolled in that specific program. Instead, James believes in offering a mix of programs at all schools to make education convenient and accessible for all families.

• Safeguarding Quality Education and Parental Rights: James believes that parents play a critical role in their children's education. He will work to protect parental rights, ensuring that families have a voice in important decisions regarding curriculum, school policies, and program choices. James will advocate for a system where parents are actively involved and informed at every step.

• Experienced Educator’s Perspective: With 25 years of classroom experience, James understands the daily challenges teachers and students face. He’ll advocate for policies that support both educators and students in creating a productive and positive learning environment.
